SOUTH BENDCOMPUTER REPAIR

South Bend & Michiana

Networks, Wi-Fi & servers

Wi-Fi that dies in half the building, internet that crawls at the worst moment, a server in the closet nobody remembers how to log into — that’s the stuff we fix. We set up and look after the networks that shops, offices, and homes actually run on.

We come to you, figure out what you’ve really got, and leave it working — labeled, documented, and with someone local to call when anything changes. On-site visits are a flat rate, quoted before we start — and we’ll tell you up front if the job needs more than one.

What we handle

  • Wi-Fi that covers the whole building — dead zones gone
  • New internet setup, router problems, and slow connections
  • Wired network runs to the desks and counters that need them
  • Small business servers — setup, cleanup, and regular care
  • Automatic backups for the files your business can’t lose
  • Cameras, printers, and card readers that need to talk to the network

Not sure what you have? That’s normal — most businesses inherit their network. We’ll map it, explain it in plain words, and only recommend what actually helps.

Common questions

Common networks & servers questions

Our Wi-Fi is terrible in half the building - can that actually be fixed?

Almost always, yes. Dead zones usually come down to one router being asked to cover more space than physics allows, or access points fighting each other. We measure where the coverage actually dies, then place wired access points so the whole building gets real signal - not a plug-in repeater that halves your speed. You'll feel the difference the same day.

Do you work with homes, or just businesses?

Both. The same problems show up in both places - Wi-Fi that dies upstairs, internet that crawls at night, a printer that vanished from the network. Home visits run the same flat rate, and if the fix is something simple we'll often have it sorted inside the hour.

We have a server in a closet nobody understands. Can you take it over?

That's more common than you'd think - most businesses inherit their setup from whoever came before. We'll figure out what it does, document it in plain words, clean up what's risky, and either keep caring for it or help you move off it if it's past its useful life. Either way, you end up with someone local who actually knows your setup.

Can you set up automatic backups for our business files?

Yes, and if your business has files it can't lose, this is the single most important thing on this page. We set up automatic backups that run without anyone remembering to do anything, and we check that they actually restore - a backup nobody has ever tested isn't a backup. We'll size it to what you have, from one bookkeeping PC to a full server.

How much does network work cost?

On-site visits are a flat rate we tell you before we start, if a job needs more than one visit or any hardware - no surprise invoices. Bigger projects like wiring several rooms or a full Wi-Fi redesign get a clear quote up front. And if what you really need is a small part and not a whole project, that's exactly what we'll tell you.

Whatever broke, we’ve probably seen it. Let’s take a look.

We don’t price repairs over the phone. We look first, so the number’s real. The $60 to look comes right off your repair, and walk-ins are always welcome. Look for the blue door with the stairs on the left side of the parking lot, and knock if it’s locked, we’re here.
